Meersburg Castle Bridge

Meersburg castle bridge over the moat

It’s 14 meters down from the bridge leading into the castle to the bottom of the moat. One of the houses in the moat has a water wheel attached to it, indicating that the castle was surrounded by a pond or river for additional protection against a direct assault.
