Most visitors take their souvenir picture of Neuschwanstein at Marienbrücke. And that OK, it’s a nice spot (just take a look at the link to see for yourself). However, if you follow the trail at the end of the bridge for just a few hundred meters up the mountain, you’ll get a picture from this, way less common angle, with Froggenlake nicely visible behind the Neuschwanstein.
